Responsibilities 

• Migrate Cosmos DB to VMware DSM (DBaaS)
• Deploy and manage Redis Operator (caching layer)
• Implement MinIO + Ceph for object storage 
• Deploy and manage Qdrant vector database (AI search layer) 
• Implement dual-write migration strategy to ensure zero data loss 
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and consistency checks 
• Configure backups, recovery, and failover mechanisms 
• Optimize database and storage performance 
• Support data ingestion into vector databases for AI use cases

Skills 

• Distributed database systems (NoSQL, DbaaS) 
• Data migration patterns (dual-write, cutover, rollback) 
• Redis clusters and caching strategies 
• Object storage (S3-compatible systems, MinIO) 
• Ceph / distributed storage architecture
